So I'm not the biggest fan of Girl Talk - I find Gregg Gillis's work absolutely enthralling for about a week and then get sick of it and never listen to it again. Knowing that, I didn't really give his latest album, All Day, much of a listen. However, this new collaboration between Gillis and creative agency Wild Combination might finally get me to hear it.

The project turns the album into a 75 minute film following 3 dancers through the streets and neighborhoods of New York City, the first snippet of which is posted above. Gothamist is posting the other pieces every Tuesday and Friday for the next month or so.
As I said earlier, I'm not a huge fan of Girl Talk, but I'm a huge sucker for films that highlight urban, cosmopolitan culture (pretty much the sole reason I stuck through the first season of How to Make it in America). God knows if my limited attention span will get me through 75 minutes, but I think it's worth a shot.
